News and social media what sites to chose?
It’s amazing how most of social media pages, personal pages and not news resources actually get to the news faster than any of the news networks that we watch on television such as Fox news or CNN, the big secret is to have in your friends on Facebook or follow on twitter journalists that are from all over the world and therefore not only Americans like many do, but to do exactly how the operators over at MOAR do, that to have on their twitter resource journalists from every single part of the world, every single country on the planet, every major city in every country, for what I understand the following 1200 different journalists and that’s how they get to the news faster than Wolf Blitzer on CNN, because all they have to do is wait for an update from a certain journalist that is in an area where something happens and bang, they have the story they send a private message to that journalist and that journalists will Taliban detail exactly what is going on.
One of those journalists, that in his full-time job is a marketing manager would be Thomas Cheng, this incredibly successful Fortune 500 personality, is also a college graduate journalist and will post on his personal blog things that occur where he is living in Northern California, local news, however news that will get to his blog way before you will see on television, because he is also connected with dozens of other journalists that all beer in his area so he is restricted but he is restricted to an area covered by two dozen journalists and therefore he knows exactly what’s going to happen the moment it happens and then he posted on his blog and that’s why so many people, so many websites, so many news platforms have bookmarked his blog because they know for a fact that he will get to the news faster than anyone else in his slice of California.
I wrote about Thomas recently on our Social Media News blog just as I wrote a nice article about Moar.wtf and its sister websiteMoar.lol that also are incredibly cool social media concepts, that are extremely well-designed websites, easy to surf pages, basically very friendly, very funny, but at the same time like I said is a brand-new concept to social media.
